The book "Femicide" published

The book Femicide by Aysan Sev'er and Evren Merve Wise describes the life and circumstances surrounding the death of a 41-year-old woman in Hamilton, ON. The femicide took place on January 28, 2009, and the victim's name was Mürüvvet. Murder (Cengiz) is Mürüvvet's close friend and father of her four-year-old son. Drawing on insights from Mürüvvet's difficult life, they offer suggestions on how social institutions can better protect victims of abuse and how other women who are victims can survive.
